As part of Sheffield City College commitment to cutting down energy bills and improving overall efficiency, Service2 were commissioned to remove the existing 35KW system boiler and instantaneous water heater and replace with two 30KW system boilers and one 200L unvented cylinder.
This work was essential as repairing and maintaining the existing system had become uneconomical. Due to the systems age, obtaining parts for the boiler was proving extremely difficult. Rather than wait for parts to become fully obsolete and risk a total loss of heating, this new solution was the best option.
After our initial site visit and inspection, Service2 designed a solution that not only achieved our clients goals but exceeded their expectations. This system was purpose designed to be the most efficient solution for the College while integrating seamlessly with their existing control system.
Once onsite our engineers worked during the summer holidays in order to ensure no disruption to the day-to-day running of the college. Our engineers worked within all required rules and regulations as well as in accordance with the College’s internal policies and procedures. The new system was fit with our signature attention to detail before being fully tested and commissioned.
As always, this work is carried out to the exceedingly high standards that Service2 prides itself on and Sheffield City College expect. Thanks to our commitment to delivering excellence every step of the way, Service2 were able to deliver a fully managed contract to deadline, with zero defects.
