Ideal Boilers, Tinsley Meadows
Following the installation of a Hybrid heating system consisting of 2x Ideal heat pumps, with 2x 40KW Ideal Evomax boilers at Tinsley Meadows Primary school in Sheffield, we were informed by Ideal Boilers (unknowingly to us at the time) that Service 2 were the first company in the country to acquire and install the Heat Pumps which were a brand-new commodity at the time of purchase.
Ideal Boilers approached us to carry out a case study of the installation. The following link details the result of the study:
Prince Henry’s Grammar School, Otley
Following a recent boiler inspection carried out by Service 2 at Prince Henry’s Grammar School, Otley;
The appliances had to be condemned due to irreparable fume spillage into the plant room as a result of heat exchanger corrosion.
Luckily for the school, we had our temporary boiler supplied and installed within 24 hours. Needless to say, our client is delighted that the school can stay open for business without the need for any possibility of closure.

The Broadway, Bradford
Service 2 were presented with an emergency task of fixing a fault within a gas valve for The Broadway in Bradford. Once the work had been completed, Dave the deputy Manager had this to say:

As always your response was first rate. To turn the whole thing around and get us back up and running in under 24 hours is outstanding.

City Exchange, Leeds
Service 2 were presented with the task of replacing the heating pumps located in the roof plant room, on the 9th floor at city Exchange, Leeds city centre.
The project was no easy feat due to each pump weighing in excess of ½ ton with two flights of stairs to negotiate!
With the additional assistance of ‘Lifting Projects UK’ and the huge collaborative team effort by all personnel, the replacement was a huge success, fully commissioned well within the clients allocated time frame.
